some unfortunate news regarding CLITORTURE....

to anyone who cares....
it really sucks to have to give you all this news, but after just over 4 years of playing together, clitorture has decided to call it quits. for personal reasons, our friend and drummer dusty has decided it is time for him to move on from this chapter of his life, and is therefore leaving the group.
after little consideration of the possibility of a replacement, crow and I have decided that there is in fact no replacement that could fill his shoes and therefore have decided to disband the group.
there is certainly no one that could bring the same vibe, energy, and dedication to our music that dustin did. we wish him all the best in all of his future endevours and remain his good friend.
we still have show obligations to fulfill and we will be doing so this coming month. we will be playing on june 10th at valentines w/ wasteform....
OUR FINAL NEW ENGLAND SHOW will be on
june 17th in quincy, MA @ dee dee's lounge w/ teratism, porphyria, and raising kubrick...8 p.m./$8 (presented by Heavy Rotation)
i hope to see many of you there as you have all been really fucking awesome to us over the past year or so that we've been coming out there. you've all made us feel really at home in your neck of the woods and we appreciate that.
we will be handing out free copies of our 4 new songs that were to appear on the mucopus split so please come out. we'll also be playing a few tracks that we don't normally play, to give you a little longer set than normal....

we want to thank each and every person who has supported us over the past 4 years, all the bands we've had the good fortune of sharing a stage with out there (big props to raising kubrick, teratism, goratory, porphyria, the taste of silver, h.b.b.s., anoxia, among others), and especially the fans who destroy every fucking venue we ever played and treated us like friends.

I hope they play a song that i've been wanting them to play for a long time....anyone who knows me knows what song i'm talking about. We'll have the first occasion of mosh @ Dee Dee's lounge ever!

Fuck man, proud to say I was one of the first New Englanders to see you guys. I spoke the word widely, I was thrilled to see other people caught on to it, ya'll deserve it! I'll definately be at Dee Dee's, i might dance a little, us boston folk are fist/head bangers by trade naturally. CHEERS!!!!

that really blows to hear. ever since we played with them last summer, clitorture has been one of my favortie US death metal bands. you guys will be sorely missed.
