I haven't listened to Cream/Clapton/Derek and the Dominoes/The YardBirds etc in so long. I grew up on classic rock, and to this day Clapton is one of my fav guitarists. Kok, as far as Clapton vs. Sucimez sure, sucimez will walk circles around him, but that's his style, he's a Neo-Classical shredder (and a damn good one) where as clapton is a straight up Blues guitarist. big difference. both are greats at what they do.
