Wacken 2005[views:1287][posts:10]_____________________________________ [Jun 13,2005 10:47pm - ZBC Metal ""] I know I've seen people talking about Wacken this year, so I was just wondering if anyone here is going to be making the trek, and, for those who are, if you've checked out the final schedule (with the exception of the metal battle winners from Sweden and Finland). It's a lot different than the last one with conflicts all over the place. There is also a "secret special guest" between Finntroll and Equilibrium that just screams Korpiklaani (wishful thinking). So yeah, who's going from the board and where are you guys staying? We've decided to skip out on the camping and will be crashing at a farmhouse nearby. Also, a post from me wouldn't be complete without some self-promotion. This Friday from 6-7pm on WZBC we'll be taking a quick look at some of the major and minor players this year with new and classic tracks from: Bloodbath Candlemass Dissection Endstille Ensiferum Equilibrium Finntroll Marduk Naglfar Primordial Suidakra Turisas Zyklon +more according to time Thanks for reading! |

| ____________________________________ [Jun 14,2005 1:32pm - ZBC Metal ""] We waited a little longer than we should have to pick up plane tickets, but those alone were around a thousand bucks a person and rising by the day. Most people camp out on the grounds which is free, you just either have to register for it or grab a spot when you get there (the whole thing is similar to Cornerstone if anyone has ever been). I'm planning on trying to make it out to DeeDee's, I've wanted to check out Clitorture live since I moved up here and I have yet to see Teratism with a bassist (which I'm dying to). |

They are pretty far-fetched rumors, and I don't think that Swano would ever give up his music to be in another death metal band though, but who knows. |
