The were originaly a "Melodic Deathmetal" band, now they're just nu-metal. I'll check out samples & what I can find online, but I'm not getting my hopes up for another Masterpiece |

They're Great!.....their music is so annoyingly catchy, and they have talent......so what if they decided to use more vocal harmonies in place of guitar harmonies, and add a few keyboards.....remember...Black Sabbath did the same thing back in their day (which most of you don't know since you only listen to "We Sold our Souls for Rock-n-Roll", which has been their set list for fucking years). So did Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Killswitch engage, Testament, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Opeth, Cradle of FIlth, Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar, and the list goes on. So don't bash a band for evolving musically. They couldn't be Nu-metal even if they tried (and trust me...they did)...in the end they can't help but to be In Flames. BTW the Sountrack to Sell out pic is cute. I made a shirt out of it, and all of my friends want one now. |
