ghost of perdition[views:1706][posts:0]___________________________________ [Jul 20,2005 9:23am - dreadkill ""] this thread is for opeth fans/dork boys. if you think opeth is gay, this thread won't be worth your time. has anyone else heard the new track ghost of perdition? it sounds a little too much like tool and meshuggah to me at times, but the last 3 or 4 minutes of it are classic opeth. there's a nice part with about 3 minutes left in the song that sounds more like 70s prog than most of their stuff. it gives me hope that the new album will be awesome. probably not album of the year, like most of their albums are for me, but i bet it will be good. it'll be hard for any band to impress me more than ulver, enslaved, and porcupine tree have with their new albums. |
