So, all I've had to go on as to what they might sound like is stuff I've read from the BSR board with people fighting at (yes I do mean at there) them to which, I've only seen them be polite. Anyhow, from that, I expected them to come out and play godsmack covers for 20 minutes while I thought of creative ways to bash them intelligently. But the was no sully, no phil, and no... um... the guy from powerman 500. They were deathcore. It's odd to hear coming from PVD, but they played well. The singer didn't face the crowd at all. I think at a smaller club with people up against the stage itching to sing along might have been a different story. They didn't move around all that much. Just headbanged and played through their set. In the end, I'm now going to go see what they sound like recorded. |

This was the first band that had people jumping up on the stage to sing along with them. Something happened to their rum set so hell within let them borrow pieces to make a kit. Then, during the second to last track, all but 2 of the strings on the bass blew out. |

That was when I stopped at a gas station to get some ciggarettes and gas. I had my sunroof wide open, and when I pulled up to the pump there were a few teenage or younger kids hanging out by the pumps playing with a football while their buddy was pumping his gas. As I was walking away from my car to go pay, one of them decided it would be a GRAND idea to punt the football into the overhead awning. Thump. POOF! The fucking fire suppression system went off, turning the entire place into a solid white cloud in under a second. Did I mention that my sunroof was wide open? Yeah, so I just spent over 2 hours cleaning that shit out, and I STILL didn't get all of it. Way to ruin my night. At least I'm happy knowing that the police said the store was suing the idiot kids' parents for lost gas sales for the 8 hours of osha cleanup, as well as cleaning costs. All together, probably thousands of dollars. |
