I would consider meshuggah extreme, they've set a pretty high bar with albums that came out in the 90's. DEI, Contradictions Collapse, None, Chaosphere. Ridiculous rhythm that most metal bands still can't compete with. Extreme doesn't have to be fast all the time and if you think it does, listen to chaosphere. |
