But I'm goin' to try for the kingdom if I can. 'Cause it makes me feel like I'm a man..." oh wait, that part didn't happen. their set was insanely sloppy. twice, they played made up songs and once the new bassist and the drummer kicked into a discoy song and josh just passed out standing up. Some guy in the audience slapped him in the face and then started yelling "If he was in my band, I would kick his fucking ass out". It was pretty hilarious though. some guy bought them 4+ beers which larry knocked over with the mic. they ended up getting out a couple songs. in between, larry said some hilarious things. |

Ahahaha... That ruled, I hadn't been playing anything for like 5 minutes. I had a message from Josh this morning, so he's alive haha... Thanks to all 3 bands, even if the MARTYRVORE set was impromptu and short as hell. I thought the sound in O'Brien's did more for them than the sound at the Bombshelter. HEKSERI stole the night, sounded really good and people seemed to enjoy it quite a bit, though I know a few had to take off to catch the T right at the end. Even a really sloppy ADOLF SATAN set is a blast to watch, Larry was in a pretty playful, talkative mood. Thanks to everyone who came down too. |
