they are still setting things up. the only thing that sucks is that someone set up on the stage. that was sort of death to bitterend bands.

monroe: I gues they normally have a bass player, but he was MIA for this show (in michigao). they started off wicked emo. the singing was all off key, but the front row was filled with a lot of their friends. It sort of made me think back to highschool and all the horrid bands that were grunge clones. granted, at the time, going to those shows was so much fun, but it was just a fad. I think that these kids will probably go on to be in much better and more creative bands. both the drummer and guitar player were pretty good. with all that said, their last song was actually really decent.

perils of reasoning: the first few songs they played had two step in them. people actually moving around *shocked*. at the beginning of the set, it was just a lot of two-stepping, but after acouple, they started dancing harder... until.. the fight. not sure what happened, but POR replied by playing a little eye of the tiger, cannae style. since they had so many cabs, their sound was really massive, especially compared to the last band. though they didn't play 99 red balloons... sniff. that would have made their sound the most massive-est ever.

inforever: or is that cutting down tall trees? I can't tell if they were serious or not. This being the first time I actually got to see them, I wasn't sure what to expect at all. they started off really "tough guy" and I thought it was going to be just liked that for the whole show, but it was surprisingly not. after the first breakdown, the set for more and more instrumental base. the singer actually had a lot of time to sit around and make jokes at the crowd. the instrumental stuff was like life in her way of parts of in remeberance.

curl up and die: what a difference seeing them live as oppose to hearing 50sec long tracks on a CD. their set was pretty awesome and was well worth the drive down.

curl up and die: (con't) I was actually a little disappointed about how much they were convergey live. anyhow, their set was really high energy. they played two new songs. I think the last new one they played is the longest track on the new CD.

bear vs shark: the singer goes "into character" and runs around the place violating everyone's personal space. It was rather great to watch. they definitely put on a good live show. I must say I'm not a fan of the music though. the singer kept going into the crowd and hanging on people. I noticed that he really only did it to guys. probably cause all the girls are under aged. towards the end of the set he said "I noticed that a lot of people left. mostly while we were playing. that's ok though. they have curfews. we do to, but we don't give a shit. yeah, we're going to get grounded for this, but we don't care" his tone reminded me of stewie griffin crossed with bill murry. oh and the mustache was HILARIOUS.
