newandyke: it was a lesson in guitar strings. 7-string, 6-string, and a 5 string bass. It looks like one of the singers picked up the bass. Granted, I haven't listened to these guys for a while and haven't heard any new tracks so I only remembers one of the tracks that they played. quell: the singing reminded me of a mix of zao and soul embraced. I guess the music did too. At some point it was slower/chuggy/southern sounding, other points straight metalcore, with some chords/changed ups like nu-grind. very good and entertaining with plenty of micro-break downs. itm's singer came out with them. a thousand falling skies: back from 2 months touring and new bassplayer, once again. What is it with ATFS and not being able to keep a bassplayer. They did a cover of an Iron Maiden song. it kicked ass. their drummer is a pretty sick drummer. into the moat: second time seeing them this week and I got the demo. it's awesome. They've been in the area all week.. If I had know that they could have double headered the monday night radio show. damn. they are so good. maybe next time. just for today: Emo music. It was good, but not really what I wanted to hear. someone compared it too mineral and called them a "CT instatution". I had never heard of them before. and this was their last show.. so I guess I won't hear about them again. the number twelve looks like you: wow.. daul singers? and grindcore? They were awesome. Quick changes up, melodic parts and double screaming. It was awesome. The funniest part was the New Jersey accents that they brought out between sets.
