Cecchini at UML said:
imported games are awesome, but I wouldn't say they are better than games like GTA and Halo, those are great games to just different styles from the imports. I mean GTA 3 completely revolutionized the video game industry for the modern day. Anyway, my favorite import was always Virtual Pro Wrestling 64. The Godzilla Legendary Battles(I think thats the name) for SNES was sweeet to. So much better than Super Godzilla. But yea, overall, Japan has got the best games.
the funny thing about GTA3... is that it revolutionized gaming so much that it made it boring and almost infinitely uninspiring after that. i mean... its the same shit i was doing in the original GTA but it wasnt as fun after 3 days. you can only go so far on shock value. sure, its a lot of programming and whatnot and it is pretty impressive when you look at it in a technical aspect, but man, i would have rather read a book than play GTA: san andreas. Halo... yeah, like Golden Eye, Perfect Dark, and Timesplitters didnt do that before, but like... they are way more fun to play. its fucking sad that a game system got its booster shot int the industry because of a mediocre FPS. "ohh wow! the graphics are sooooooooooo good! *gobbles Bill Gates' cock*" gay.
