aaron your setup would be perfect with one of those, since you could just mount in on the wall in front of the couch and have more floor space.

DLP's have a much longer life then plasmas, you don't have to worry about dead pixels, if the picture goes, you can have just the bulbs replaces insted of tossing your 60" $10,000 plasma tv into the trash. I won't argue that plasmas look nice, but they're only rated for about 4~6 years of life. where as with proper maintnence and whatnot, a DLP will last 10+ years.

I didn't say Plasma, I said LCD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, the quality of projection sucks, the picture looks different from every angle. blegh!

old projection yes, you're right, digital projection dosen't suffer from that shortcoming though.
