____________________________________ [Oct 19,2005 9:04am - anonymous ""] i'd buy it but not for the price they are wanting! Only a insane fan would buy it or someone with tons of loot. I just bought a PowerMac G5 this past weekend and it cost me $2500 for the computer alone. Another $1500 for the display. But its for my job so... I'm sure he pulled the internal out and i bet he used external drives. man anything to make a buck. |
__________________________________ [Oct 19,2005 9:21am - powerkok ""] HAHAHHAH Only Patton would write 'Thanks for letting me fuck your dad" on a G4. |

_______________________________________ [Oct 19,2005 10:01am - the_reverend ""] I have a G4, but don't use it for anything. |
____________________________________________ [Oct 19,2005 10:24am - ForgotMyPassword ""] G4 was a good puter back in the day [2001] but today an iMac G5 will blow the thing out of the water. Plus I think it was running OS 9.2 then. I use to use one in college at that time. I remember 2002 was the big OS X craze. It was also the year my 'rents bought me my first iMac G4 lampshade. Used it through college and a year after college. Finally bought a 17" PowerBook G4 last year. Shweeeeet. |

If I were you I'd go back to the store and exchange them ASAP. |

___________________________________________ [Oct 19,2005 4:00pm - ForgotMyPassword ""] hey rev, what type of computers do you use out of curiosity? |

I'm curious to see how the Intel processor works out next year in them. And yeah a new type of screen would be cool and I'm sure they are working on that. Two mouse button (Mighty Mouse) is out. |

Your display now costs only $1300. They will credit you the $200 because a guy at work here bought a display last saturday for $1500 and he went this morning and they gave him the credit of $200. I bought a PowerMacG5 this past August so you can probably guess I'm 8^( |
