The Distance - In 6 months after this band puts out it's release on Bridge 9 everyone will magically care about them. fuck youth crew.

Embrace Today - I've seen this band 100x and this was by far the worst set I've ever heard by them. So so sloppy. very disappointing.

On The Rise - I didn't like this band at first because I didn't like them the last time I caught them. The thing was they just had such a great attitude about the whole thing even though they didn't get much of a crowd response (something alot of you douche bands, prisoner 13 im looking at you you flaming gaywads, could take a lesson from) that I actually decided to give them another chance. Maybe i'll check out their cd

100 Demons - ruled. period.

Madball - great fucking time. i had so much fun I think i'll do it again tomorrow night at bills. and maybe a 3rd time tuesday in Manchester.

the distance: I believe this band features 1 or 2 members from what feels the fire, but I didn't recognize any of them. Their set was really really short. I expected them to be a bit better than they were. I think they still need to work on playing live. I think that would make them a lot better.

embrace today: I love seeing these guys. They played an ok-lengthed set, but as I've not heard them on CD, I don't have a clue what tracks they played. The sound on the stage was a little sluggy in the low end (like hirudinea the thursday before) and their no monitors on stage. They are cool to watch/shoot cause they are constantly jumping. The singer ended with sending a song to the SxEx kids.

on the rise: Well, they are just starting out so I can't judge them that hard. They seemed sort of stiff on the stage. They also played really long for a band that is just beginning. It was ok, but I'm sure they will get better with time. It was funny all the posi-hardcore speaches they gave though I think every word of it was true. The bass player (current-agnostic front) was actually on tour with Agnostic Front. The only track people could really sing along with was the last rack "on the rise".

100 demons: They had the same line up as on metalfest. It was pretty awesome to see them in full form (all 3/4 tons of them!). It's odd to look at old pictures of them and see all new members. They got great metal riffs on a bunch of old songs that the big guy on the left bangs out. it's great to watch him smiling from wide and plucking away.

madball: ok, I've never been a madball fan and I remembered why... They have a bunch of songs that I like in that old-school slapshot way, but it's the nyc-hardcore-talking-rap that I'm not down with. Anyhow, their set was great with all the kids singing along and the last song was crazy, everyone jumping over everyone else and singing along. I'm glad that they are back together and playing. Their tours give a lot of local bands a chance to play on "larger" shows that they might not have gotten to play other wise. It was also funny that the guitar player send out a track to the SxEx kids AND the drug addicts.

I'm also not sure what's was better the show or the fact that I saw a car drive blindly off 95N into a ditch.
the best thing is that it was a perfectly straight road

there was also this weird lady working at the first Hess on route 1 from boston.
she almost knocked me over putting my change in my hand and then the convo went
her "have a nice day"
me "I'll try"
her "actually, it's store policy. You walked through the door so now you have to have a good day" and then she opened her mouth wide and she started to make dolphin noises.
it was weird.

The Distance - I found them to be pretty good. Never heard them before and what I did hear was good wish they played longer so I could have said more or less about them

Embrace Today - Very good band. I am edge and I love that they are so in your face about it. I always look forward to seeing them. When they tour with WITH HONOR its gonna be insane

On The Rise - Didn't even pay attention.

100 Demons - This was the main reason for me. Pete is one of the best frontmen in CTHC. I can't wait to hear their new shit recorded. They played a few of them today and kids were going crazy. Better response then madball.

The Distance - reminded me of that Cake song, going the distance. This band moved me. Now I must fade into oblivion.

Embrace Today -This band was really cute, hence their cute name. It reminds me of when families go on picnics at the foot of the Blue Hills. I cried.

On The Rise -I don't like communists, and oh boy were these Red Bastards getting on my nerves.

100 Demons - I counted, there was no way there was 100 demons in this band, very disapointing. I like the guy with the brown pants though. I got his number.

Madball - I don't know who these guys were, but I came late and missed them.
