shattered existence: southern style rock. So vodka induced I could smell it. the singer had just about the funniest guitar I've ever seen. Check it out LIGHTNING BOLTS! Pen: at this point, I ran out to buy a drink and a pen. I bought my 3rd Uni-ball GEL IMPACT pen. I had bought 2 of them earlier in the week. My review of them, they are for retards. they write WAAAAAY too big. I hate them. the accursed: pros. were two tracks mixed together at the end? anyhow, they rocked out and then mostly stayed for the whole show. well, those that didn't leave for sex. kurixis: they started off with a brutal black metal song and then it blended into 3rd gen black metal by the end. random acts of violence: amazing cd and amazing set. these guys rocked out before heading off to their set on WBCN tonight. I'm pretty sure they had the biggest audience of the day. phantom limb: techie black/death metal. At one point, I was sitting by the PA and it remined me of the "live at WUNH" ascendency set except with out the planned chaos that ascendency has. I could a 3" CD to. Good things from this 2-piece. kevorkians angels: great band, but I think they got defeated by the room. it seems like all the bands playing on that stage got a shitty sludge for the low end. seeing as a lot of KA's stuff comes from the chords on the bass, it was missing in the sludge. Next time, all bands should fight for the corner stage. disengaged: it seems like the singer's been mixing body fluids and FooGoo (blowfish). or not. whatever the case, he's in the hospital with a bigger neck than even henry rollins. Until he gets better, there are some backups. Joe n/c and Phil n/c filled in with Al Ravage doing back-up HaHaHAs. Besides needing the lyrics sheet, joe and phil didn't sound too bad. Al on the other hand, needs to read the script first. All the best to Beakey and a quick recovery. Disengaged was the band I came to see, so the WHOLE band not there was a kick to the crotch. I guess I shouldn't complin cause they were on the crapy sounding stage. The lead guitarist (chuck?) was awesome. he was doing speed picking with his fingers and the busted into the 90210 theme song. my pet demon: they were ok. the description I got was "prog old metallica". I definitely could hear it in the vocals, but that's it. They had a large croud for them too. Wonder if they will know to look here. I then got to see a cop hugging women outside. the women looked easy. I think they were escorts.
