Hey anyone got any music by Red Tide. I just watched the new Killswitch DVD and there was a short section about Red Tide and everyone in the video was making fun of them but I have heard a lot about this band recently but not their music. I've found a few info things online about Red Tide (Adam Brody likes them!?) but I can't see where I can buy the music. It looks as if most of their stuff is out of print. Shall I venture over to P2P? If any of you have mp3's please host them! Thanks!

Yeah i watched it also. who knows why those guys in unearth and all that remains make fun of red tide. i've been to a few of their shows and there was never only 5 people there. i guess they don't like them. even in the vid you see a lot of people there. who knows.

if you want their music get Limewire. that's where I got all their stuff. videos from their DVD are on there. Also i think that adam brody guy vid clip is on there also. you won't be able to buy their stuff. i've never ever seen it for sale. its only available on P2P. great musicians so I don't know why on the Killswitch DVD they say they did not know what they were doing.

Well I do like KSE a lot but after watching the DVD documentary part where they go over Red Tide I kinda was like "what the hell!?" i mean they say red tide was a bunch of nutcases who played totally different things at the same time and called them songs. then they said like there was more people on stage than in the audience, like there would only be 5 people there and once they started playing everyone would leave because they didn't know what was going on. I have been to a few of their shows back in the day and I can say only one of the shows I went to there was maybe like 15 kids there. The other few shows I've seen them at there were tons. Geez, even the founder of Red Tide Justin Foley puts his own creation down. I admit the vocals were not good but the music was. Being a guitar player myself I can respect and appreciate them.

which one? i know the CD called "Themes of the blah" is going for $50-80 which is a fuckin ripp off!!! Type II seems to be the one that is available still. There were a few other things out there like demo tapes going for $30 which again is a ripp off. On Limewire I found some stuff from 1994! Also bootleg videos and i tried to get that Adam Brody thing but it just says "Need more Sources"

no idea. i think this adam brody actor was on something (tv) recently and he mentions that one of the bands he liked and found interesting was Red Tide. Now I have no idea if this is the Red Tide we are talking about. I highly doubt it but then again who knows!?

wow, thanks for all those links! i checked out the songs. Red Tide is some really cool shit. I mean one of a kind shit. I wish the DVD talked a little more about Red Tide. Rather they just go on to say "Two dudes, Two Dudes, ITS PSYCHO TIME!" - Phil All that Remains. Anyone know which song is the one they used on the DVD?? It sounded sick. I think he's saying, "You're so fucking vain" i want taht song!!!!!

Red Tide is pretty fucking good. Better than Kse I might add. They're technical with jazz/fusion parts. The only thing you have to get over is the vocals. They're pretty bad vocals. All in all, Red Tide is a good band and I have both of their cds.

yeah the vocals can be annoying at times because they sound like the guy doesn't care. i mean its not HORRIBLE vocals but i guess they sound kinda half/ass at times. the actual singing is decent but again someone probably could have done better. music wise it is pretty complex shit. i mean i play guitar myself and all those guitar solos they do are not typical metal solos. i mean its pretty obvious they are jazz musicians as well. its interesting stuff that's for sure. Killswitch is a mall rock band. very trendy. i don't even consider them metal anymore. next CD they put out will be nu-metal you just wait and see.
