It was painful enough watching Ray Bourque wear an Avalanche jersey, I don't want to see Joe wearing anyone else's sweater. Thank god Cam Neely got hurt or you would have seen Sinden nickle and dime him out of town too. We need new owners, a new GM and not much else. Zhamnov was a poor signing. When I read we missed on Forsberg and countered with him, I was stumped. Would have been a good signing like... five years ago... but he's nothing more than a third line center at this point. I thought we learned our lesson with Martin Lapointe on that front. Also, I think they set the salary cap too low. Should have started around 45 mil. It's just so frustrating because before the strike all Sinden and O'Connell said was "wait for the cap to hit because we'll be in great position." Well, it's here and they're full of shit. GRRRR... |
