most dissappointing albums of 2005[views:2344][posts:29]______________________________________ [Nov 27,2005 2:27pm - the rooster ""] cryptopsy: once was not - by far the worst vocals i've ever heard. the production is all drums, the sense of chaos is gone, bring back disalvo, some parts/transitions sound really forced and therefore sloppy.... aborted: archaic abatoir - has a few really good songs, but is a serious regression from the 'goremaggedon' album, which is one of my favortites. biggest disappointment for me was..... CROWBAR: LIFESBLOOD FOR THE DOWNTRODDEN.... what the fuck were they thinking!? this album is fucking aweful. and crowbar is one of my top 5 favorite bands ever.... i still love their other records though (w/ the exception of 'equilibrium' and a couple of their earlier recordings), 's/t', 'broken glass', 'odd fellows rest', and 'sonic excess....' are fucking masterpieces. i don't know what happened on this album. |

It's not as bad as Domination, but it sounded rushed, underproduced and packed with filler songs. I will agree with the Cryptopsy comment. Disalvo is god.
