There has been tons of talk about this election and that one, etc. Who actually voted? Not asking who you voted for, I'm just curious if the people here voted before talking politics.

I voted in the prez one.
but not the off-year one this year
nor will I in the one next year unless there is some way to get democrats in to the house/senate (NH are morons, send dems to washington so you get more tax $$ back to your state in special projects and financial help)

If I could, I'd have voted for John Clemmenson

In Massachusetts (wich is where many of the board members are from), you don't really have a chance to get your voice heard reguardless f weather or not you vote. The state votes democrat either way. I'm sure even if the majority vote were slightly republican, the electoral reps would still vote democrat...

I voted in '04, and wore a "vote kerry" shirt to vote. Granted, the shirt had a picture of Kerry King on it, but it was still a "vote Kerry" shirt.

Honestly, If you were eligible to vote, but chose not to, then you shouldnt really bitch about the current state of political affairs in the United States, because you obviously didn't give a shit back around voting time.

Voting's meaningless. This country was bought, sold and paid for a long time ago. The shit they shuffle around and rearrange every four years doesn't mean a thing.

voting validates complaining. if the guy you voted for wins and does a shitty job, you can bitch that he isn't living up to the expectations you had when you voted for him. if you voted for the losing guy, you can bitch about the shitty job the guy you didn't vote for is doing.
