I'll be going this weekend. My buddy has already been out the last 2 weekends. 5 degrees at my house this AM, smaller lakes / ponds will definitely be safe.

nice. yeah staffordville lake in northern CT is still a bit too thin to go out on. one of the cleanest lakes in CT right there and the DEP doesnt have to stock with with perch or trout because theres a good native population even with us going out there and pulling up a killin. the outdoor hockey rink in town is safe to walk on now so ill be out there soon
