two sided season: I've never heard of this band before. They are from right over the river in maine. For the most part it was nu-metal mixed with old heavy metal. some of the guitar parts were really good, sort of old school, but I didn't like the singing.

screams of erida: they played a couple of old tracks. The other songs were all new ones. Probably ones that as going on their full length when is comes out (they are recording it next week). from what I see/hear live, their new songs
are less melodic. I'm sure they will sound different ones tacked down on a CD, but they are most straight-forward and could easily be changed by the producer to sound more like lamb of god when its all said and done. for those of you who don't know their first EP, just watch their faces. If the guitarists are constantly looking at the fret board, then that's a new song. The guys from neversaynever/handchockneck were there with an ample supply of headbanging to dish out. Some guy from the kings of nuthin was trying to bring the sick mosh.

thru the walls: i'd never heard these guys either. Though I think that one of the guys from the band taked to me about this band before. some parts of their music was terribly nu-metal. It was sort of on the same lines as the parts of manifest's (mass) music that I don't like. The other parts was semi-hardcore. Sort of like KSE. For some reason, whenever I shot the singer, he would close his eyes.

two sided season review: please tell me you are just not a fan of singing because if it was you did not like the voice your crazy...seen this band several times and when you actually hear them when the p.a is turned on they rock.... keep hearing you talk about new metal like it is a bad thing man i am sorry without being able to use the word new metal then it would slowly fade away in most areas...dont get me wrong i though screams was awesome love those guys but sometimes you need to have melody and lyrics that you can understand!! just one mans opinions who has made it a point to travel the maine, newhampshire, and boston local metal scene for the last 7 years to support!
