He tries to rap about things outside of 40s, blunts, and bitches with beats that are not your standard verse/chorus/verse/chorus. The guest appearances (Black Thought from the Roots, Common, Styles of Beyond) are the best part. Some songs sound a little too Linkin Park-ish but that is to be expected. Probably like a 6/10 but worth a listen if you don't pay a lot for it. |
