I don't consider myself an emo fan by any means, so I guess it's like a guilty pleasure. I agree the lyrics aren't cliche gay and either you like the singing or not, I personally think Claudio has the same quality as Geddy Lee or the guy from the Mars Volta (singing like a girl). Musically it's the shit. I consider it quite progressive for something you'd call emo, I'm more a fan of the uptempo stuff. I've heard limited amounts of the new record, but I'll get around to picking it up. |
