TunnelVision Brilliance was written, produced, and recorded entirely by Reeder in his own studio. The album is a much more personal and intimate soundscape than his thunderously heavy past, an inspired (and undeniably psychedelic) trip through the subconscious of one of underground rock’s brightest luminaries. With Kyuss and The Obsessed, Reeder has unquestionably left his mark on heavy music. Other highlights of his career include auditions with Metallica (you may recognize him from their Some Kind of Monster documentary) and Tool (with whom he’s occasionally performed), in addition to producing a number of artists (Bluebird, Goatsnake), contributing to soundtracks (2 Days in the Valley) and performing live in high-profile settings (Unida, Nebula, The Earthlings). |
