In most large venues there is one sound person at the side of the stage who does the monitor mixes and at least one other person facing the stage doing the sound that everyone else hears. As for the general sound of the palladium, most people who talk about how shitty the palladium's sound is are the people who are listening from the pit area. If you were to listen from between the bar and where the sound guy is, it is noticably better sounding. Granted, in the case of the Palladium, even then it is still pretty bad, but its better than what you hear in the pit in front of the stage.[/QUOTE]
