_______________________________________ [Feb 14,2006 12:57am - the_reverend ""] if you want an honest critique photo-wise... not that I'm at all, but it's pretty OOF. it also looks like it was just grayscaled. this makes the image a lot flatter that it would be is you use a channel mixer for mesh down the colors to grays. you can really bring out colors and then change them in to shades for the b/w. it needs a sharpening over all cause there is a lot of "digital clouding" in there. I'm not saying it's a bad photo, it just needs a little photoshopping. I cleaned out all the things that I said above and cut it by 50% to take out some of the OOF. email me and I'll send you the photo. oh, I also warmed it up a touch. |

[img] let's see, I balanced the levels (they weren't bad) USM'd it at 13% 31pt resized by 50% placed a warming filter on it of 19% USM'd it at 15% 10pt |
__________________________________________ [Feb 14,2006 1:26am - davefromthegrave ""] I have no idea what any of that means |
__________________________________________ [Feb 14,2006 1:26am - davefromthegrave ""] thanks again though |
______________________________________ [Feb 14,2006 1:35am - the_reverend ""] translation: a sharper looking image. |
__________________________________________ [Feb 14,2006 1:37am - davefromthegrave ""] the print wasn't so bad, but after I scanned it and hosted it on tinypic it wasn't looking quite so good. |
