have you heard the live Slipknot cd they released fairly recently? Corey Taylor sounds like pure dogshit. altogether they sounded like ass. when the first cd came out i enjoyed it. it had a new approach to it, and it seemed like a band that had a new attitude, but then it was sucked in by mall queers and then Slipknot became synonymous with 15 year old wannabes. Iowa was ok, it had its cool songs but overall it was boring. and the latest installment was one of the worst things i have ever subjected my poor ears to. once Stone Sour came back it was all over for Slipknot. Corey Taylor became a whiny little turd bitch.

I've been reluctant to go to recent 'knot shows. Their large scale of their shows seem so 'produced' compared to their earlier ones. When I first saw them at the avalon in 99/00 it seemed a lot more personal and natural than when I saw them at manchester and albany 02/03. I'll leave those big shows for the kiddies and support local acts.
