Kylesa update - drummers?[views:12197][posts:0]______________________________________ [Feb 18,2006 1:08pm - the_reverend ""] Drummer tryouts went really well - thanks to everyone who made the trek to Savannah. Since the dawn of Kylesa, it was our intention to have two drummers but at the time it didn't pan out. Finally, after 5 years it has become a reality and two new members have been added to play drums: Jeff Porter from Detroit and Carl McGinley of Savannah (who also drums for the Unpersons). We feel that this is our strongest line up as of yet and new and old songs are coming along great. Speaking of old songs, if any of you have some favorites that you would like to hear us play the next time we tour, please drop us a line and let us know. it's far more interesting this way. We won't play the Nausea cover or the Accused cover but maybe a new cover... Oh yeah we're really bad at self promoting but it's worth mentioning: our albulm "To Walk A Middle Course" made several best of the year lists including Decibel, Revolver, Rocksound, New York Times, and assorted others. yay! |
