I haven't posted in a long time purely because when that issue with the names came up I lost my password and all that great stuff. Anyway, I'm recording this band Raise the Red Lantern from Chicago in April and am also booking a show for them at O'briens on April 25th. I thought I would drop a note so people could check them out and hopefully make it out to this show and support some gritty rock'n'roll and have a few beers. I think Raise the Red Lantern's myspace decribes them the best: "Think Harkonen playing out of High on Fire's equipment after listening to No Idea's catalog." I will be recording this band the day before the show, so they will have some new tunes available at some point. |
