Nice Motorhead cover of Sweet Revenge. There was not a single complaint between 5 listeners today who all heard it for the first time. How does it differ from other Krisiun releases? Alex doesn't have a dominant scroll of lyrics to read from, giving the riffs more air which subsequently means the general musicianship is more up front, and easier to focus on (he's not singing like on conquorers, more like bloodshed). Lots of cool bridges, twisted wah dives, and creative fills that still revolve around their trademark accented phrases. Not their fastest album, but a comfortable tempo for headbanging, non stop. Hail KRISIUN!!! |

Kinda funny, I loaded up my 5 disc changer with the KRISIUN CD which ends with Sweet Revenge (MOTORHEAD cover) and the next CD in the changer was the new KATAKLYSM which begins with a movie sample "Revenge is a dish best served cold". I felt like popping in THE ACCUSED just to hear the song with the girl repeating "Revenge, revenge, revenge", the rape song. |
