When I started working M-F in April of 2004, I also started letting bands & labels (even some I consider friends) down. Medic from Maryland is a prime example. I still haven't transcribed an interview I did with Sonny like 2 years ago. Now the elephant in the room is a piece on 3 Louisville bands (Lords, Coliseum, Breather Resist) that is losing relevance by the week. Thank fuck those bands are pretty prolific, tour and put shit out all the time but still, I've had to do a couple follow-up interviews and shit (BR just lost their vocalist, Steve)...so yeah, I try to write about bands I care about and Metal Maniacs gives me a lot of freedom subject- and time-wise but not coming through has really been a drag.. |

Once I'm down, though, I sleep with no problems. Insomnia would put me over the edge. this highlights my annoying propensity to further avoid the work as time goes by - it's like this hyper-procrastination. |
