Founding Memeber of Bane of Existence leaves[views:8595][posts:62]______________________________________ [Feb 27,2006 1:12pm - the_reverend ""] unfortunate news, if you thought BOE ruled with 2 guitar players, sorry. it seems that jim ash has split from bane of existence. if you check out the band's old myspace account, http://www.myspace.com/baneofexistence you will see that jim is the only member of the band... but if you check out boe's page "offical" page: http://www.myspace.com/boemetal jim is no longer in the band. it looks like jim is selling off all the equipment he has and that BOE is continuing on with the new line up minus jim. this features brandon (bass), dusty (vocals), mike (drums), and chris (guitar). If you are keeping score, that means Mike is the only original member of the band left. from their website it looks like they are continuing with the "normal" BOE course: Additionally, BoE will be taking the rest of the winter off to write. We have a whole new set of material in the works that's guaranteed to be the most devastating yet. Keep an eye out for more frequent news and site updates. Stay sick! IOW: no winter shows. I'm sure they will be out playing again once the snow clears. |
