Invocation Of Nehek have finally found a replacement for singer Rob Carpenter, who left the band amicably last October to focus on his new family. Joining the band on vocals is Lou Tanuis, formerly of On Paths Of Torment. According to the band, "Lou has a great range and tons of heart. He definitely does the old material justice and is putting some great final touches to the new material."

Meanwhile, the band continues to write material for their next album and will tour the East Coast in April with My Bitter End.

1) I like lambgoat... but why do I always hear news about "RTTP" bands on there first?
2) on paths of torment broke up? they were/are awesome. I hope it was an old singer of something cause paths was too good when I saw them. BTSS-ish

New Singer, Band Update, Rumor Squashing, Tour update

Hello all, i know it's been a while since we have had anything to say and news to discuss. A lot has been been happening with ION.

First and foremost, For those of you that don't know we have parted ways with our old singer Rob Carpenter, there have been alot of rumors going around about this, and we are finally in a position to talk about it. This is infact true, Rob left the band on his own will back in October of 2005, After our tour in Sept he moved in with his wife in VA, as they were expecting a baby girl in Dec. As i'm sure alot of you can imagine, being that far away with a new family on the way, things became very difficult for him, so he opted to leave the band and start his family, we wish him the best of luck, and would like give a belated congrats to him and his wife on their baby girl! We still love Rob, and wish him the best in all he does in the future.

Moving on, we are pumped to say that the looooong search for a singer has finally come to an end. We'd like to welcome Lou Tanuis to the band. We have been friends with Lou for couple years and is a great kid!! He used to be in fellow CT band, On Paths Of Torment. Lou has a great range and tons of heart, He definitely does the old material justice and is putting some great final touches to the new material.

Speaking of new material, i'm not going to lie, it has been a slow process we have been trying to find a new singer for so long that it really took it's toll on writing, we have half an album written and boat loads of of riffs and new songs in the works. Look foward to a new release later this year.

Another rumor i'd like to squash. In light of all these updates it should be obvious, but for people that are dense, WE DID NOT BREAK UP, NOR ARE WE GOING TO. so thats that.

We are hitting the road in APRIL with MY BITTER END on an east coast tour, it will be good times, those guys are just as crazy as their music, can't wait to get arrested with them.

I'd like to thank all the people that came and tried out to sing for us, we have all your tracks still recorded and plan on releasing them to the public for all to hear and ridicule. (i'm joking of course) but seriously thank you, your efforts were very appreciated!

ok well that is all for now. i hope this answers any questions that any of you had.

take care everyone.

BONERS
