I hadn't read the novel before hand...so I don't know which was better, but it was definitely overlong and the ending was dumb...the "spawn-esque" origin story scenes were lame, but I like movies that heavy-handedly mock the current political state of things, so in that sense it was somewhat entertaining |

Other than that I thought it was awesome, and it's pretty scary to think that that could be our future. One thing I noticed, barnes and nobles has a christian section, a new age section, a jewish section, and an eastern faiths (hindu, buddist, taoist) but not even a single shelf for Islam??? I find that highly offensive if I was muslim, and still find it disgusting that the biggest bookseller doesn't even have a koran for sale, but they carry all kinds of shitty wiccan junk. I am not Islam or anything but what the fuck, next thing you know it they will outlaw metal because some fucked up dime bag darrell fan will go shoot up a day care or something while blasting some red neck metal. |
