There has to be some middle ground, like expecting a band to bring X amount of people, and making tickets available before the show. But as a promoter, which I know you are, I would find it hard to believe that you would book bands that expected to just show up and play. Everyone wants to make a buck, and this dude took the tactic of requiring tickets to be sold up front. If he was unclear on that, then shame on him, but if the band took the show knowing they had to sell X amount of tickets, then they really don't have anything to cry about...[/QUOTE]
