i almost got into a fight at KC's on thursday. my band finished our set with a cover of Holy Diver. that cover usually gets a great reaction, but all the numetalcore kids didn't know dio. we went up to the bar to get a drink and some guy in his 40s went up to the jukebox, chose holy diver, and said "this is how it's supposed to sound." he wasn't joking around, so i flipped out at him and tried to goad him into a fight. he took one look at rich horror and couldn't stand up for himself. the KC's people pretty much escorted me out because i wouldn't stop yelling at the guy. it was great.

The shots are done by Lisa Gourley. I will be picking up the CDs from her this Friday with any luck. She lives in Rhode Island, and we only get together about once a month :-( Lisa does all my photgraphs, and yes her work is excellent, I will be sure to pass along the compliments to her.
