For Immediate Release NILE ANNOUNCE 'ART OF NOISE II' TOUR SPONSORS; BAND COMPLETES WORK ON TWO MUSIC VIDEOS Relapse Records recording artists NILE have announced their third U.S. headlining tour in support of their critically acclaimed album In Their Darkened Shrines. The tour, dubbed the "Art of Noise II" will kick off September 30th, 2003 and will criss-cross the United States. Support on the tour will be provided by Kreator, Vader, Amon Amarth and Goatwhore. The "Art of Noise II" Tour follows NILE's successful "Art of Noise" Tour that took place last January / February featuring NILE with guests Napalm Death and Strapping Young Lad. NILE's "Art of Noise II" tour will be co-sponsored by leading media outlets of nearly every variety, including television, retail, print, satellite radio, musical equipment providers and internet sponsors. The "Art of Noise II" tour will be presented by Guitar World Magazine and FUSE TV's "Uranium" program in conjunction with FYE / Trans World Entertainment, XM Satellite Radio, online sponsors Blabbermouth.net and Blistering.com as well as Dean Guitars. On the topic of the tour, NILE guitarist / vocalist Karl Sanders commented, "We're very happy to give music fans a package that will certainly be a quality metal bill comprised of a variety of excellent bands. We're looking forward to starting the tour and getting out there to see all of the NILE fans soon." Following the "Art of Noise II" tour, NILE will appear as one of the headliners at the first annual "MassConcerts Presents: The New Jersey Metal and Hardcore Festival", scheduled to take place November 14th - 15th in Asbury Park, NJ. NILE will then travel to Europe for a month's worth of shows that will include headlining performances in Greece, France, England, Ireland and Scotland before joining the 2003 version of Europe's revered "X-mas Festivals", which will also include Deicide and Destruction, amongst others. Additionally, NILE have completed work on two music videos for songs from In Their Darkened Shrines. The videos, directed and filmed by acclaimed director Darren Doane (Deftones, AFI, Poison the Well, Kyuss), include a concept video for the track "Sarcophagus" and a performance video for the song "Execration Text", both shot at Center Staging in Burbank, CA. Both videos are expected to make their world debuts imminently.
