| ___________________________________ [Apr 14,2006 10:01pm - succubus ""] growing up in italy where nuns hit you and the priests eat meat on friday's behind everyone's backs (way back catholics wouldn't eat meat on friday's) anyhow..my parents are italian, educated in italy and they dealt with their fair share of hypocrisy in the church..so growing up..despite the fact that i'm technically "Catholic", i used to only go to church a couple of times a year: holidays, funerals and weddings i hear stories about what catholics beieve in and think...WHAT? that's definitely not my family side note..at my baptism..the italian priest didn't show up when he was supposed to...guess what? he was busy getting drunk and showed up 3 hour late..hahha fuxxor then when they were teling the church my name...the nun told my dad that i couldn't be called "carina" because there was no saint by that name...and the name being an adjective (beautiful, darling, etc) it should not be a child's name..my dad told her where to go, and i still got my name ... because my dad took one look at me when i was born..and well you know... haha don't mind me i'm buzzed right now..but i will say this i miss my dad.. god damn it... |
