Blown fuses and someone who had way too much money to blow on booze[views:2203][posts:2]__________________________________ [Sep 19,2003 2:41am - lynneaus ""] well i just got home from The Livingroom in RI seeing MOD, Trama Concept, Letdown, and a couple other bands... ok well i start off by saying i hate providence... ive always hated providence and will continue to hate providence until their roads become less confusing (on a somewhat related note never use mapquest to get directions to the livingroom) so i got there around 8:30 and missed the opening band. the next band whom i cant seem to remember their name right now... eh... im usually the last one to say that image has nothing to do with music... but when ur gf is standing in front of the stage and applyin eye liner so u can look all "cool" in front of the ten people that are watching your set you have some problems.... they were metalcoreish... i went and hung outside after one song. Letdown was next and well quite frankly, i was. perhaps at a different time or place i could have enjoyed them...they were just too mellow for me from the beginning...i dunno maybe i was just in a mood tonight. Trama Concept was next and i thought they put on a good set... good solid tunes... they looked they had fun with it.. unfortunately it seemed only me and two 1/2 other people were into it in the crowd... man the livingroom is a dump well MOD came on next i will say if nothing more it was FUN....first song a fuse blew twice thus killing the PA... it was getting really annoying and i was starting to think they were just gonna say fuck it and not play. but it finally stayed on..... there was a dude in the front who must have been doin some serious drinking all night because he was "That Guy" at the show... but 100 times worse... at one point Milano had enough of him and told him if he wanted to hear a song so bad to come up and sing it himself... and the kid did. except for the blown fuses and the wasted kid who wouldnt shut up... they put on a solid show. |
