I couldn't really hear the words, but the beats laid down were awesome. Order in chaos. The DJ with the 2 macs played beats pieced together from indie rock tracks. Cool stuff. then at the end, he introed isis all innercity like, how funny. |

I'm not the biggest isis fan and haven't really liked some of their stuff, but I like oceanic and the remixes. It's more like neurosis.their whole set was probably 5 songs, but lasted over and hour. I knew the second song and the last song. That was it. The moor told me the last song was on atlantic or something. I music have it mp3d. When you walked in, there was a poster that said "NO TAPING". This poster was of course taped to the wall in a blatant disregard of itself. the reason taping wasn't allowed is cause isis was playing new material. their new stuff reminded me of the later cave in music that everyone hated. of course when isis doess it, people are probable going to be all over it. I had heard from wade about shoot them, I was very timmid at first, but got more and more gutsy as I knew I had the shots I needed. they ended with that song I knew and walked off. in the end, the light went on and off a few times tricking people into thinking an encore would be coming. unfortunately there wasn't one, just their 7 guitars standing there against the cabs. |
