I've been trying to start a new band for a really fucking long time (Since last October) with no luck so far. And I'm fucking sick of being bandless. I'm trying to start a metal band (duh)...but it's going to be weird. Frequent subgenre-shifts, bizarre song, lyrical, and possibly instrument ideas, etc. Basically, I want the band to sound original. As for what took up my time, the store I work at got robbed, and it bizarrely led to the firing of the kid that was working when it got robbed...and I had to take all of his hours (Which left me working about 45 hours a week.) We finally got a replacement about a month ago. |
