The Lovekill announce July 11 release date[views:2846][posts:8]____________________________________ [May 25,2006 10:30am - eyeballer ""] The Lovekill's full-length Astro Magnetic's debut These Moments are Momentum is officially slated for release July 11, 2006. Newbury Comics will be doing a special pre-order through the month of June to feature the full-length and the limited edition The Sleepover EP for one low price. You can preview tracks from the forthcoming record on the band's newly revamped myspace page or on the Astro Magnetics last.fm. It was recorded by A.J. Mogis at Presto! Studios in Lincoln NE, and Stephen Pederson, Esq. at C+ Studio in Omaha and has been described as "the urgency of mid-'80s Dischord bands such as Scream and Rites of Spring. Songwriting is interesting and rocking and singer sounds like Guy Picciotto at times and like Mick Collins at others." (Dave McGurgan) Additionally, The Lovekill confirmed a string of new tour dates in July around the record release and will be keeping a journal while they are on the road.
