I've been in and out of them for the past 3 or 4 years, and all bands ever do is listen to my basslines, and say "we can't play anything else with that, and we don't feel like having a bassist lead our music". My style is one of a kind, I'm highly influenced by Atheist, and those who have heard Atheist probably already have a vague idea of my style. I play a weird combination of death-jazz and disjointed heavy/death metal. My main influences are Atheist, Pig Destroyer, The Red Chord, Converge, and Deadwater Drowning. I could name more, but those are the bands that probably dictate my writing style the best. If you have a band, don't contact me unless you have no songs written and/or are willing to start from scratch. I want to start with a fresh slate with a group of musicians who don't mind having the bassist lead every now and then, oh lordy, I know it sounds crazy.
