Scammed out of Red Sox tickets[views:1819][posts:24]________________________________ [Jun 10,2006 7:14pm - xmikex ""] A friend of mine had tickets to a Sox game a month ago. It got rained out, and he had to go back to Atlanta. I bought the tickets off of him and went to the 1:30 game today. I stood around in the rain for 2 hours while they held a rain delay. They didn't tell anyone what was going on the whole time and I found out through word of mouth that they cancelled the 7:00 game. So I got sick of waiting around and left at almost 4:00. I found out when I got home that they started the game at 6:30. A 5 hour rain delay without any sort of updates and now my tickets (which were cheap but that's not the point) are probably worthless. John Henry is a hell of a great guy. |
