Thanks to everyone who came out, that was defenitly one of our best shows we thought. It was amazing to finally play with both Hirudinea and Watchmaker. Thanks to Alex for letting us play this show, and The Rev for taking some awesome pictures.

Oh, and Rick bought me a beer right before Watchmaker, which was awesome and appreciated. This is proof of what you can accomlish when you live your life to the hatred of everyone that has ever lived.

tonight was a ripe night at OB's. with the smell of cat piss, you might have thought that nickKA had brought the matching cab to the flat-rat bass.
my time in the bathroom was more closely limited to how long I held my breath. Also, I'm hoping I'm not the only one who's shoes turned into mollases on that floor.

shit_fuck: due to not common reasons, the was no banter on stage. there was also no blood! Chris had a pedal, but it don't think it did much. For most of their set, the new sound dude, eric, didn't plug the speakers on the left side of the stage in so I kept wanting the band to turn EVERYTHING up. For one song, they switched up the line up, it was a 30 second song were a friend came up on stage. Chris sang, that kid played guitar and the guitarist played bass. Surprisingly, the drummer played drums. He was left out of this music chinese firedrill. Then, before the light went green, they all switched back for the rest of their set. They also tried to get people to sing for them, but it didn't work until that one guy decided to sing. I forget what song. might have been a misfits cover.

That happens everytime I'm at O'Bs. It's like being in an unkempt movie theater. Despite that, I love that place. Or maybe because of it.

Thanks to Joe and Mike for the ride. sorry for the shitty directions. i don't know where the fuck i'm going half the time myself.

No I didn’t get a copy… yet.. I wanted one for WUNH too.

hirudinea: this was sort of a weird sounding set for them. They vocals sounded weird. They band sounded weird. I’m not sure why. Must have been the new sound guy. Brian (watchmaker) was in the front of the crowd like the entire time with a video camera. I can’t imagine what he captured. People were thrashing about on the floor and I thought that they would get stopped. I mean purp would have stopped them. Oh well, beer got split and people had fun. Their set was sort of a for-warning for the drunken madness that was about to unfold during watchmakers set. There were also like 031923 cameras up front, all flashing away. It’s like these guys were rock stars. Like all the other sets they’ve done lately, they ended with carnivore. The drunken stomp was in full force then. This time, they PA stayed standing.

watchmaker: I’m pretty sure that feeding people pills and beer isn’t the best way to help them play. Well, not in this decade at least. Markkevorkian was trashed and couldn’t figure out or give a fig about playing. It was hilarious to watch, but left him not playing most of the set. Every time he would mess up, he’d end up just putting his guitar down. Brian was sans saw. Probably the smartest idea he’s had since forming watchmaker. The overall level of absolute drunkenness in the crowd and (more importantly) on the stage would have made the addition of a saw in to something out of sid and nancy. I just know that someone would have been laid out bleeding back stage. At the end of the set, utter chaos was completely wallowed in, led by the sloppiest cover song ever. members of hirudinea came up on the stage and screamed, played, fell down, and held up Mark. The crowd pushed back and forth, coming dangerously close to knocking over the mixer and then Mike (ninkaszi) would roll over the top of the crowd, dropping in front of the post in the middle of the room. And what cover song was the theme to this drunken spectacle? The only song that could possibly played sloppier than anything and as long as you can hear the toms, every single self respecting metal head from A to Z knows. Angel of Death. By this point, the PA was off, the lights were on, and the mic that everyone was still shouting into was hooked to nothing.
