With the drill bits I have, It'll be a clean hole and they'll be air tight. If my idea for a carb system works (and they have the parts) we'll get the same affect as the shotgun without having to lift out the bowl. If worse comes to worse we can just go back to the slide. |

They had this wicked young singer who was there with her mom...she looked real nervous but overcame it with gusto. Music was about as bland as bran flakes though. Never Say Never - I dug these guys a lot. They're not the most innovative band to say the least, but play some pretty good metal and do a good job at it. The vocals seemed to fade in and out a lot, I don't know what that's about. Unhallowed - Another band that was kind of generic, they came up from NJ to play this show and it actually went really well for them. There was a decent crowd and everyone was drunk and interacting with them. Their music got repetitive after a while, but they were still good at what they do. Zircon - For some reason I thought they sounded a lot better last time. Not in terms of being tight, but the sound through the PA was a little different...I think the guitars might have been a little too loud, and as a result the rest of the band kinda got drowned out, it seemed to get better for the later half of their set though. They still played an awesome set however. I fucking love that song Vastlands. I'd give the show a B...the turnout was decent, the sound was pretty good, but i just couldn't really get into Coven of 13 and Unhallowed. Be sure to go to next month's Metal Thursday @ Ralph's to see Zircon, Sacreligion, Face Full of Shotgun, and one more TBA. |
