| _______________________________________ [Jul 13,2006 10:41pm - the_reverend ""] for me (and suc-my-penus) tomorrow is SOTU and saturday is dehumanized. a timely demise: new guitarist who I was told was in NeverSayNever (but then again who hasn't been in them, but this point). I'd only seen them once (in a church basement). The singer (i forget him name but will call him arthur after the coolest guy ever arthur herbert fonzarelli who was so cool when he jumped that damn shark. "Ayehhhh!"). Since the last time I saw them, I know they were recording. I think the changed a bit since then. The vocals before were more like unearth now and less the dry scream of zao like they used to be. I'm sure it's easier on the vocal chords and shows more range, but I like hearing people destroy their throat. |

I only saw them once or twice but I don't think this guy looked like the old guy. I think the old singer was named justin. But then again I could be completely wrong. (update: the new singer came over and confirmed all of that) The music changed. It sounded less like NSN mixed with hatebreed and sounded more like the earlier as i lay dying with no clean singing. There were even a few times when I thought the next lyric would be "FOREVER". the new since (i believe named john) said they went more "grind" but I think it was just a lot more melodic. |
