The properties I'm looking at in NH run about 2000 for a 1-2 acre lot, 2000 square foot houses. That is cheaper, no matter how you pick it apart. |

In that article, you'll notice it says throughout that NH has relatively high property taxes. They're one of the top 5 in the counrty, actually. However, thats because Ma has a lot of huge expanses of crap out west with low taxes. Best way to put it: I couldn't afford property taxes right in the middle portsmouth or other cities, but then it'd still be cheaper than owning land in boston or plymouth. |
