A few weeks ago, I was at Newbury Comics and picked up a copy of Napalm Death's "From Enslavement to Obliteration" album. This was purchased brand new, not used.
Tonight I popped the CD into the player in my car and was a little more than surprised to hear songs from Entombed's "Wolverine Blues" coming out of my speakers. Weird shit. Should I send the disc to Earache and have them send me a new Napalm album?

DO NOT SEND BACK THE DISC

If it is labelled correctly then it is worth $$ as a collector's item

I know Vinyl that comes that way is worth literally Thousands of dollars

for instance, this Elvis record that had the wrong track listing printed is worth no less than like $3000

like if the disc is silkscreened as Napalm Death and is in the Napalm Death packaging

I actually was thinking about that, I was going to send it back to Earache and see if they'd exchange it for me, but then I figured it could be a cool rarity so maybe I'll keep it around.

I might e-mail Earache anyway just to see what they say.

Check out if its a rarity first. Vinyl can be worth a lot, but this is a CD. They are worth pretty much nothing.

I think you lucked out getting an Entombed CD by accident, personally I'd consider that an upgrade. You could have ended up with Barbara Streisand, you know.

(I hear she just signed with Earache, apparantly she took the name of the company literally).

Hey. Barbara Streisand is heavier than a FEW of the Earache artists in the past couple years.

hey, it's nick from watchmaker...and also the manager of newbury comics in braintree, ma...first off...the cd is worthless. it is not unusual for cd's to be pressed wrong. second...don't send it to earache. just bring it back to the store you bought it at and tell them what's up. they will exchange it for a new one. third...buy all your metal from my store! see ya...

entombed does kick ass, but i already own "wolverine blues". i did send earache an e-mail, they haven't replied yet. i figured the disc probably wouldn't be worth anything. i'll take it back to newbie's.

I'm not the biggest fan of Wolverine Blues, but Left Hand Path fucking rules.
