| ________________________________ [Aug 16,2006 5:08pm - Ryan_M ""] i say they're too wanky....they're very talented, but when death metal bands get too technical like that, it kinda ruins the whole atmosphere of the music. to me, death metal should help bring out the darkest and most impure feelings and thoughts of the listener, not so they can sit and jerk off over how many notes the guitar player can pull out of his ass in between blastbeats. death metal isn't about being a guitar hero, it's about bringing out the hate for every person who ever fucked you over or pissed you off in any way, and it should be a boot in the face to anyone who jumps from bandwagon to bandwagon in a desperate attempt to be number one in the "in crowd" sorry for the long rant, it's probably the jim beam and coke in my belly talking. |
